Caddick and Moss were asked to produce tooling for a venepuncture arm used as a medical aid for rawing blood. After being given an SLA model produced from CAD data, they had to produce ibreglass pattern equipment which included all the undercuts of the vein recesses. From this, aluminium castings were made. These were then machined and hand finished producing a mould. This mould formed the white plastic arm which was fitted out with latex blood vessels and covered with a silicone sock with hand details.
